  • Egyptian LOL

But, I still enjoying myself living here, and I don’t know why. Sudah terlalu selesa agaknya. Pada awalnya, aku beranggapan “ya Allah, macam mana aku nak hidup dengan keadaan macam ni?” okay, here I list several pros and cons that Egyptian does, and maybe every single of the community will do these.

Let me start with the cons

    CONS

Sampah, masyaAllah, sangat amat dasyat. Everywhere I walk, run, jog, trash must be scattered. Feel like there is nothing wrong with this trash. Diaorang buang sampah macam bukan satu kesalahan, dari sekecil kecil sampah ke sebesar besar sampah, tak kira masa, tempat dan jenis sampah. Pernah sekali aku tengok a small girl buang sampah makanan that for me quite big from her hand right after finish eating. Me feel like ‘HOMAIGOSH’ budak kecik dah mampu buang sampah macam ni apatah lagi orang tua . then aku tengok pulak mature guys buang sampah sesuka hati, food leftover, cans, sweet wrapper, tissue, in an easy way everything! For sure, everyday aku akan dihidangkan dengan sampah sampah mereka tu, sampai kadang kadang naik muak. Dah la aku ni jenis yang langsong tak suka kotor dan bersepah, but Allah test me and bring me here, heaven of rubbish. Sampai even ada seorang pak cik arab sendiri kata “ kenapa pilih mesir? Negara penuh dengan sampah? “ then aku terfikir, diorang perasan yang Negara diorang kotor dan bersampah, but where is their awereness? Pelik dan awkward. But lately, I realize, Alexandria, the place where I live a little bit clean. Kalau tak kat pantai sampah berlonggok macam tak tahu dah nak kata macam mana. And I am a little bit glad to see the transformation and hoping it will last long! Amin..

2-Egyptian jugak adalah bangsa yang teramat sangat tak tahan sabar, dan disebabkan diorang tak tahan sabar, traffic jammed occurred every single day. And me feel like fuck, what the hell are they impatience at? Just a little time taken then the whole road will stuck like a double cheeseburger kat McD. And for sure I will let out everything in my twitter and mocking like no one will read it. Silly me. Haha. But for sure, the traffic jammed is terribly happen every day. Dan sampai satu tahap, diorang tak tahan sabar and even use the other lane, the lane that opposed the right one.

Haha. Yeah, I am not lying at all, seriously, every day, watching people pee in the street like a habitual action. And sometimes macam dah already lali with all of those disgusting moment. And one day, masa aku pergi jogging in the sea shore, I saw a man, in the age of 20 plus plus dashing towards a wall, I thought of something worst happened, then he took out his trousers, let out his penis and pee in front of me. Aku rasa masa tu like” homaigosh, what the hell is going here?!”. So without hesitation, aku pusingkan muka, then Nampak that brothers pakai suar, betolkan zip, lintas jalan and did ordinary chores. Maigosh, what the hell is happening actually. Ada jugak that time, in front of Malaysian students hostel, ada sorang pak cik tu kencing like no one there, pak cik, kami ada kat sini, this is public area. -.-

4-mesir jugak has the worst electrical supply for the whole world sepanjang hayat aku. Black out always happening, and membuat aku jadik pening. Da la the building here like block in new York city, so, need light to lighten the room, so selalu lah kami bergelap, and so do the internet connection, maigosh, so freaking slow, like crawling on the wall siput kata. Seriously, sangat stress, plus bila nak skype ngan family that we already didn’t met for about months. Kadang kadang due to the worst electrical circuit, tengah buat kerja pun terhenti, and x sempat nk save. Defuq! ><

5- Egyptian jugak adalah bangsa yang sangat tak memahami bangsa bangsa asia, for them every Asian is Chinese, and bila kata Malaysia akan terkejut, kadang kadang the first word diorang akan greet kita is “sinni?” kalau dalam bahasa melayu, china? Sometimes it does make me feel like jerk, nak tumbuk je rasa, apa lah dengan china tu . plus, Chinese population kt Egypt ad eke? Malaysian is one of the most contributor the the Egyptian economy sebab ramai students Malaysia urghhh… -.-

And I think enough with the the pros and I will proceed with the cons, eh terbalik, aku akn proceed with pros.. banyak ke pros diorang nie? -.-

1-egypt adalah antara Negara yang food is very the freaking cheap. Even a bread, a pound like almost 5-cent, we can get 4 pieces, maigosh, heaven for cheap food. Multiple choice of food here, but for sure can’t even compare Malaysia, my heaven! J tapi makanan kat restoran mahal la jugak, tapi tak semahal amlaysia, even restaurant 5 stars pn kinda cheap compare to Malaysia. Steak here just around 50 ringgit for a 5 stars restaurant while Malaysia 100 ringgit for the cheapest one. Defuq.

2- Egyptian adalah antara kaum yang sangat kuat mengaji, maigosh, kinda jelly with them, even when there is spare them, they take out Al-Quran from their pocket and recite it. Even policeman while waiting for cars or what so ever will recite the al-quran. And once, I saw my lecturer, while waiting for the student to finish their chores, she ask for a quran and recite it. MasyaAllah. What an awesome things for me!
3-Then, Egyptian ni jugak amat amat menjaga solat, bila waktu solat je penuh lah masjid with their society, and terpaksa golongan pemalas macam aku ni solat kt luar sebab lambat. Apa lah nak jadi.

4-actually, most of the things here are cheap, even al-quran the small one just cost us 2 ringgit. Ya Allah, tremendously cheap, I don’t know how can they survive with this cheap stuff. Pity them. But for sure, kami kami yang study di sini agak happy. Ho ho ho, x perlu kuarkn duit banyak banyak untok sopping!

I don’t know what else I wanna say about the good side of Egyptian. Huahahaha.  Seriously, I have no idea. But for sure, everything has its own pros and cons, don’t ever think that we are that perfect till nothing is wrong in us. Mirrored ourselves before saying something about people, don’t learn to condemn if we know we aren’t that perfect and nobody’s perfect! J
